Qualifications and Study Experience
Having attended Summerhill Secondary School in Kingswinford and King Edward VI College in Stourbridge, Paul chose to study Law at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, obtaining a 2:1 degree. He then completed his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester.
Work Experience
Paul secured a training contract with Rees Page Solicitors in Wolverhampton, qualifying as a solicitor in September 2005. In 2006 Paul moved to Talbots Solicitors in Stourbridge where he worked in the commercial property department. Following Talbots’ merger in 2009 with Dunham, Brindley and Linn, Paul moved to the Wolverhampton office of the newly merged company where he continued his commercial property endeavours building up excellent relationships with local property agents and lenders. Paul’s enhancing profile in the local market was spotted by George Green LLP and in 2013 he accepted their proposal to work at their new Wolverhampton office where he dealt with both commercial property matters as well as taking on an increased residential conveyancing workload. When the pandemic took hold and a certain Stamp Duty Land Tax holiday started to impact, Paul accepted a proposal to move to the Cradley Heath office of George Green LLP and to become the head of their residential conveyancing department. In 2026 an opportunity to join the residential conveyancing department at NBB Waldrons arose and Paul is now delighted to be part of our well established and highly regarded team, heading up the Merry Hill division.
Paul has acted for a significant number of property investors and traders as well as countless individuals and enjoys all aspects of residential conveyancing, from the freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and remortgages required to be dealt with on a regular basis, to the more complex aspects of the role including new build sales and purchases, investment transactions, separately represented lenders, auction sales and purchases, shared ownership properties, retirement properties, option agreements and other bespoke property matters and documentation.
In addition, Paul embraces the business development aspect of residential conveyancing and enjoys good relations with local estate agents, IFAs and accountants as well as representatives of banks and building societies.
Personal Info
Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife Jen and teenage kids, Millie and Zak. He is the chairman of Walsall Artistic Swimming Club, where Millie swims, and he sits on the senior and junior committees of Swindon Cricket Club, Staffs where he (occasionally) plays sometimes alongside (the immensely more talented and proficient) Zak. His passions are watching cricket (Kent and England), watching football (Wolves) and travelling (often combining the latter with one of the former with highlights including trips to India, Amsterdam and Dublin to see the England cricket team play as well as football trips to numerous German and Spanish grounds as well as The Eternal Derby in Belgrade!)
