Pay an Invoice
To pay for an invoice, you will need your invoice number which can be found on your invoice shown as 'Invoice No'.
You can pay for multiple invoices at one time; to do this you will need to provide the invoice numbers in the additional comments section.
Pay on Account
If you are looking to pay money upfront for work to be done you will have agreed to 'Pay on Account'.
To pay your "Pay on Account" balance you will need your matter reference number which can be found on your letter shown as 'Correspondence No'.
Paying NBB Waldrons online
You can pay an invoice or pay money on account quickly and securely online.
Pay an invoice - To pay an invoice, you will need your invoice number, shown on your invoice as 'Invoice No'. To pay more than one invoice at once, please add the additional invoice numbers in the comments section.
Pay money on account - If you have agreed to pay money upfront for work to be carried out ('money on account'), you will need your matter reference number which will be detailed on our correspondence to you.
The maximum value that can be paid online is £10,000.00, and payments are accepted in GBP only. Money on account payments are typically processed within 1 business day, and you will receive an email confirmation once your payment has been made.
Please Note: This online payment service is not for the payment of Counsels fees and must not be used to pay completion monies or Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) in connection with a property transaction. Please use the payment method and bank details provided to you by your case handler.
If you make a payment for completion monies or SDLT using this service, additional checks may be required before the funds can be accepted, allocated or returned. This may result in a delay. Where we incur reasonable third party costs as a result of carrying out the necessary checks, we reserve the right to charge these costs to you.
How your payment is processed and kept secure
We use Legl to process your payments securely. When you choose to pay, you will be taken to Legl's secure payment portal to complete your payment. Payments are handled by Adyen, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider, which is the highest level of security certification available in the payments industry.
Your card details are entered directly into the secure payment pages and are encrypted at all times. Your full card details are never stored on, or passed through, the NBB Waldrons website. We receive confirmation that your payment was successful, together with basic transaction details, but never your card information.
How your personal details are handled
Any personal information you provide as part of your payment is processed in line with our Privacy Policy and Legl's Privacy Policy. For more on Legl's role in processing your payment, please see Legl's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Keeping your money safe
Whenever we request a payment from you, we will always include your client or matter reference and a note of what the payment is for. If you are ever unsure whether a request is genuine, please do not make a payment, and contact us directly on 0333 016 1100 to verify first. When paying, always check the details match who you are expecting to pay.
