NBB Waldrons will take to the water this May as part of the annual Himley Hall Dragon Boat Race hosted by the Rotary Club of Wolverhampton.
Taking place on Sunday 17th May at Himley Hall and Park, the event brings together teams from across the local business and charity community to compete on the Great Lake while raising funds for a range of good causes. It has become a well-established fixture in the regional calendar, attracting around 2,000 spectators and offering a blend of competition and family entertainment.
The firm’s team, NBB Waldrons Rapid Rowers, will be led by Katie Hinton and will be raising funds for Black Country Women’s Aid.
Black Country Women’s Aid provides specialist support to women and children affected by domestic abuse, helping individuals access safety, secure housing and ongoing support. Funds raised through the event will contribute directly to these services.
The Dragon Boat Challenge is centred on participation and fundraising, with teams made up of colleagues, clients and local organisations. Alongside the races, the day offers a spectator-friendly environment with activities for families and supporters.
