NBB Waldrons Founder & CEO Rob Bhol is preparing to take on The King’s Trust CEO Challenge this September, joining senior business leaders from across the UK to raise vital funds in support of young people facing barriers to employment.
As part of The King’s Trust’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the three-day challenge will see participants swap the boardroom for the Scottish Highlands, taking on a series of demanding physical and mental challenges that test resilience, teamwork and leadership. The initiative aims to raise £500,000 collectively to help The King’s Trust continue its mission of supporting young people into education, employment and training.
Today, more than 900,000 young people across the UK are not in employment, education or training, making the work of The King’s Trust more important than ever. Funds raised through the CEO Challenge will help provide practical support, mentoring, skills development and employment opportunities for young people who need them most.
Rob, who was recently appointed Vice Chair of The King’s Trust West Midlands Development Committee, is inviting clients, colleagues, contacts and the wider community to support his fundraising efforts.
Speaking ahead of the challenge, Rob said: “The King’s Trust has spent 50 years changing lives by giving young people the confidence, skills and opportunities they need to succeed. Having seen the impact of its work first-hand, I’m both honoured and excited to play a small part in supporting its future.
The CEO Challenge is about stepping outside of our comfort zones in recognition of the resilience young people demonstrate every day as they overcome challenges in their own lives. Every donation, no matter the size, will help create opportunities for the next generation and I’d be incredibly grateful for your support.”
Rob’s participation reflects NBB Waldrons’ continued commitment to supporting the communities it serves and organisations that create lasting social impact. Through partnerships, fundraising and volunteering, the firm is proud to support charities and community initiatives that make a genuine difference across the Midlands and beyond.
