Qualifications and Study Experience
Callum studied Law at the University of Birmingham. Callum graduated from university in July 2023 and started working at NBB Waldrons in August 2023 in the Litigation department.
As part of Callum’s Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship, he obtained a High Distinction in his Diploma in Legal Practice from BPP University, Birmingham.
Callum passed his SQE1 assessments on his first attempt in January 2026 and awaits the release of his results from his SQE2 assessments in August 2026, which he sat in April and May 2026. Subject to Callum passing his SQE2 assessments, he will then apply for admission to the Roll of Solicitors at this point.
Callum is also the Legal Industry Chair for the UK Committee for Law Students for Climate Accountability. Callum works with leading firms and lawyers on how to promote a just transition away from fossil fuel transactional work in the legal sector.
Work Experience
During Callum’s training as a solicitor at NBB Waldrons, Callum has obtained experience in Property Litigation, Education Law, Private Client and Contentious Probate, and now works in Construction Litigation and Dispute Resolution as a part of the Business Services Team.
Callum has always had a keen interest in contentious areas of law and guiding clients through challenging circumstances, whether they be businesses or individuals, through meticulous investigation and strategic planning.
Callum regularly appears on behalf of clients in the County Court. Callum continues to develop his advocacy skills and plans to complete his Higher Rights of Audience qualifications shortly after his qualification as a Solicitor.
Prior to joining NBB Waldrons, at university, Callum obtained legal work experience at two different Top 100 national law firms.
