NBB Waldrons has received recognition across Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Education Law in two of the legal profession’s leading independent directories, The Legal 500 and Chambers UK.
The latest rankings acknowledge the specialist expertise, experience and dedication of the firm’s legal teams, reflecting their continued commitment to supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging circumstances.
The firm’s Clinical Negligence team, led by Managing Partner Joseph Norton, has been recognised in both directories for its work advising clients on complex medical negligence matters. These include birth and brain injuries, delayed diagnosis, surgical errors and cases involving life-changing injuries.
Working alongside Joseph are Adam Smith, Mike Deeley, Gerry O’Brien, Louise Smith, Mandip Hayre, Francesca Love and Alissa Dola, who together bring considerable experience to supporting clients and their families through often difficult and sensitive circumstances.
The firm’s Personal Injury team has also secured recognition in both The Legal 500 and Chambers UK. Headed by John McDonnell, the team represents people affected by serious and life-changing injuries, including workplace accidents, road traffic collisions and complex cases involving disputed liability.
John has also received individual recognition in Chambers UK 2027, acknowledging his experience and expertise in personal injury law. Alongside him, Paul Nicholls, Colin Brooks, Katie Hinton and Chloe Rainey play an important role in helping clients navigate the legal process and pursue compensation following an injury.
Recognition has also been received by the firm’s Education Law team in Chambers UK 2027, reflecting its specialist work supporting children, young people, students and families across a wide range of education matters.
Led by Priscilla Adu, the team advises on issues including special educational needs, discrimination, school and university disputes, and fitness to practise proceedings. Salima Mawji has also received individual recognition in Chambers for her specialist expertise in education law. Together with Chrisma Faleye, Bailey Geater and Rachael Green, the team provides advice and support to clients facing often complex and emotionally challenging situations.
Commenting on the recognition, Joseph Norton, Managing Partner at NBB Waldrons, said:
“It’s encouraging to see the work of our teams recognised by both The Legal 500 and Chambers. These rankings reflect the experience, dedication and hard work of colleagues who deal with complex and often deeply personal matters every day.
“What matters most to us is the difference we make to the people who turn to us for help. Whether that’s supporting someone following a serious injury, helping a family through a medical negligence claim or ensuring a child receives the education and support they need, our focus remains on providing clear advice and a genuinely personal service.
“I’m proud of everyone involved, particularly the wider teams whose contribution is so important to the work we do. It’s a welcome acknowledgement of their efforts and the standards we continue to work towards as a firm.”
The Legal 500 and Chambers UK are two of the legal profession’s most established independent directories, assessing law firms and individual practitioners through research, submissions and feedback from clients and legal professionals.
For NBB Waldrons, the recognition provides an opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of colleagues across the firm and the important work they continue to do for clients throughout the West Midlands and beyond.
